But having more choices does not automatically make your buying decision easier. You still have to determine which manufacturers deserve your attention and which models fit your budget and travel plans.

Some relatively compact models may be advertised below $200,000, while the largest and most luxurious coaches can cost several times that amount.

But price alone does not determine quality.

Newmar has a long-standing reputation for building high-quality luxury motorhomes. In my experience inspecting its products, the company generally pays more attention to construction, finish work, cabinetry, and interior details than many mass-market RV manufacturers.
That does not mean every Newmar is perfect. All RVs are assembled largely by hand, so mistakes and inconsistencies can still occur.

The Super Star is Newmar’s entry point into its higher-end Super C lineup, although “entry point” is certainly relative in this price range.
For the 2026 model year, Newmar lists seven Super Star floor plans ranging from approximately 37 to 41 feet. Depending on the floor plan, the coach is built on a Freightliner M2-106 or M2-112 chassis.

The Newmar Supreme Aire
The Supreme Aire moves farther into the high-end Super C market.
The 2026 lineup ranges from approximately 38 to 45 feet and includes five floor plans. Depending on the model, buyers can choose between single-axle and tandem-axle Freightliner Cascadia chassis configurations.
Newmar’s published starting prices are in the upper $600,000 range, with larger and more heavily equipped models costing considerably more.
The Supreme Aire is designed for buyers who want the space, power, towing ability, and interior finish of a luxury diesel motorhome while retaining a front-engine truck chassis.
The Newmar Summit Aire
Newmar has also added the Summit Aire at the very top of its Super C lineup.
The 2026 Summit Aire is built on a Freightliner Cascadia 126 tandem-axle chassis and is available in two 45-foot floor plans. Newmar lists a towing capacity of up to 30,000 pounds.
This is an ultra-high-end coach intended for buyers who want Newmar’s most powerful and luxurious Super C offering.
Of course, a motorhome of this size and price is not practical for most RV buyers. But its introduction shows just how far the Super C market has expanded.

Who Should Consider a Newmar Super C?
A Newmar Super C may be right for you if:
- You want a high-end luxury motorhome.
- You plan to travel extensively or live in the RV.

NeXus offers several Super C models with different chassis, lengths, floor plans, and capabilities. That gives buyers a chance to enter the category without spending the amount required for a high-end Newmar.
Depending on the model and dealer, advertised prices may fall roughly between $150,000 and $250,000, although pricing can change substantially with the model year, equipment, discounts, and market conditions.
So use that only as a general shopping range. Compare the actual selling price and equipment of individual motorhomes before making a decision.
NeXus Offers Smaller Super C Motorhomes
One of the interesting things about NeXus is the availability of shorter models.
Some NeXus Super C floor plans start at approximately 29 feet and extend into the upper 30-foot range.
A 29-foot Super C can appeal to buyers who want diesel power and a heavy-duty chassis without driving a 40- to 45-foot motorhome.
The shorter length may make it easier to maneuver through fuel stations, campgrounds, parking lots, and smaller roads. It may also fit into more campsites.
But a shorter coach will naturally have less living space, storage, and separation between rooms. You need to decide whether maneuverability or interior space is more important to you.
The NeXus Rebel 4×4
The Rebel is one of the more unusual choices in the NeXus lineup.
It is a four-wheel-drive Super C built for RVers who want more capability on unpaved roads and in difficult conditions. The current model uses a Chevrolet Silverado medium-duty chassis with a Duramax diesel engine.
Four-wheel drive can provide useful traction, but it does not make a large motorhome unstoppable.
The Rebel is still a tall, wide, and heavy RV. Ground clearance, approach and departure angles, tire selection, road conditions, and the weight of the coach all limit where it can travel.

RVs are still largely assembled by hand.
One motorhome may move through the factory and be put together very well. Another coach from the same manufacturer, model, and production period may have more assembly problems.
That is why I recommend using two kinds of information together.
